Our Story

1993

The Beginning of Gold Creek

1993

Gold Creek Community Church launched Easter of 1993. Our Founding Pastor Dan Kellogg and a ragtag group of ordinary people were willing to dive in together and reach Western Washington with the hope of Jesus. Ever since, Gold Creek has been a constant story of God doing the impossible – that’s why we say GOD CAN!
2014

Planting Woodinville

2014

In 2014, after 8 years on staff with Gold Creek, Pastor Brian took on the task of starting a campus in Woodinville. He was excited to land in Woodinville because of the future expansion in the area, the migration of young families into the community, and – as overly spiritual as it may sound – he truly felt God calling him to Woodinville time and time again.
2014-2019

Brightwater Treatment Plant

2014-2019

The first home of Gold Creek Woodinville was Brightwater. So many new faces, salvations and baptisms came from this location. Gold Creek Woodinville was the only church in America in a sewage treatment plant! It provided a unique place to start a church, but space began to get tight in all areas. The dream of a permanent church building began here.

Hidden River Middle School

This location was a small blip in time, but a huge moment in the life of Gold Creek Woodinville. It was a risk to move into a bigger space and reach a new area. Ground was broken and construction started on the Woodinville property during this time.
2020

Drive-In Church

2020

The year when everything changed. No one knew that 2020 would pack the COVID punch but Gold Creek Woodinville adapted and thrived. Drive-in services began in the parking lot right in front of the ever-changing construction of the church building. Sunday service consisted of worshipping in cars, lawn chairs, and Pastor Brian preaching from a scissor lift.

Gold Creek Church Woodinville

In the midst of a pandemic, God provided for Gold Creek Woodinville. A miracle became reality as funds were raised, volunteers put in hundreds of hours in construction, and the doors opened to a permanent building right on Hwy 9 in September 2020.
